This is the First stage of completion. I would like to add a lot more texture to bring her back to life. I am however happy with my progress thus far!

"Artist Statement"

"My interests are varied, and the materials I

use to express my ideas run the full gamut

of contemporary artistic practice. My main

themes are based on memory and

photographs, which I express by using

natural elements to reveal simple facts

about everyday existence. I use texture and

other tangible materials to create a sense of

balance in my paintings. It is my intent to

bring the viewers attention up close to have

them take a step back to look at the simple

wonders which are easy to forget in

everyday life."
